In the design and construction of its controllers, CMZ applies the PLC approach to all types of applications, especially motion control. This philosophy has always proved successful for the controllers of the old NF0 standard family, programmable in AWL language through the WiDe development environment. The natural evolution of this approach has led to the creation of a new family of standard controllers programmable in IEC61131, through the 4CONTROL development environment, together with CODESYS 3.5 allowing the user two possibilities of software development on the same hardware.

Development environment

CODESYS - CODESYS is the best known and most widespread non-proprietary IEC61131-3 development environment used in the automation field for engineering control systems. Thanks to CODESYS, all CMZ controllers (FCT640, FCT300, FCT200) are open to CODESYS users with the ability to use a wide range of services, programming techniques and software libraries offered by the CODESYS world. In addition to the controllers, the CMZ drives (SBD, IBD, NBD, LBD, SVM, ISD) are also open to CODESYS and can therefore be used with various CANopen and / or EtherCAT masters based on this development environment. All CMZ libraries are also in CODESYS and use SoftMotion integrating it with additional features and function blocks for multi-axis control. |
