Fuel valves

JTECH Srl of Turin is an official and authorized EMERSON distributor for Piedmont and a specialized reference point for ASCO fluid valves.

ASCO is known in the fuel distribution sector as a solenoid valve supplier, in particular dealing with gasoline, diesel (including vapor recovery), LPG, compressed natural gas. With its wide range of solenoid valves, ASCO is the market leader in fuel supply and vapor recovery. Since the dimensions of the fuel distribution pumps has decreased over time, ASCO has redesigned its products with a more compact design. In fact, the development of small valves has made the use of bulky frames superfluous, thus reducing costs for pump manufacturers. ASCO fuel valves comply with all the strictest safety standards, such as the European ATEX anti-explosion directive.

Vapor recovery

Petrol contains volatile organic compounds (VOCs) which evaporate inside a vehicle's tank and fill the empty space above the liquid fuel. When a vehicle is refueled, these vapors are expelled from the fuel tank by the incoming fuel and, if not controlled, escape into the atmosphere through the filler neck of the fuel tank. Almost 5% is released into the environment, which can affect human health. ASCO has developed solenoid valves that recover these harmful vapor emissions from the storage tank or distribution pump when filling the vehicle.
