JTECH Srl of Turin is a technical and commercial point of reference for CMZ programmable controllers, servo drives, servo motors and HMI for Piedmont.

CMZ's experience in the field of PLCs began in the 1990s with the first, historic NF0 series based on the proprietary "structured AWL language".

The constant technological evolution continues with the creation of the family of controllers of the FCT200 and FCT300 series, programmable up to 99 axes according to the IEC61131 standard: systems in black-box format equipped with PowerPC processor and CANopen and EtherCAT master, available on the CODESYS and 4CONTROL platform.

Today, for industrial motion control CMZ offers the FCT640 programmable controller from an Industry 4.0 perspective: modular, super compact and high performance system based on CODESYS 3.5 with integrated I/O.

Main types:

Modular FCT640 - FCT640 integrates motion control solutions in a single and compact technological equipment. The controller supports all field buses used in industry (EtherCAT, CANopen, ModbusTCP) with integrated digital and analog modular I/O units.

As a coming soon feature, the OPC UA communication protocol is also planned for networking the system to the outside world in an efficient and secure way, promoting connectivity with other devices, the foundation for interoperability from an Industry 4.0 perspective.

The power of the processor, the presence of Ethernet and CAN ports and serial ports and a total memory capacity of over 1 GB plus an SD-Card, complete the technological equipment of the FCT640 controller.

Single frame FCT300 - FCT300 is a single frame programmable controller designed and manufactured in Italy by CMZ.

It is a high performance solution ideal for intensive use and able to ensure perfect control of up to 99 axes.

FCT300 can be managed by IEC61131 development environments:

  • CODESYS
  • 4CONTROL proprietary development environment developed by CMZ and equipped with 5 different programming languages (Structured Test, Instruction List, Function blocks Diagram, Ladder Diagram, Sequential Flow Chart).

FCT300 is equipped with 1 or 3 EtherCAT ports and 2 or 4 CAN ports.

It can also be supplied with PROFIBUS / IO or ETHERNET / IP port.

FCT640 I/O modules - The FCT640 master controller can be integrated with a wide choice of modular digital and analog input / output modules for the management of multiple functions (resistance thermometers, thermocouples and many other types).

FCT640 is equipped with an internal bus called HBUS on which the I / O modules (digital and / or analog) can be connected.

The I/O modules can also be connected externally with the CANopen or EtherCAT protocols through the CMZ TB20 bus coupler.

Via bus couplers, the FCT640 modules can also be used with the FCT300 and FCT200 controllers.

All modules are easy to apply, remove and replace.

FCT300 & FCT200 Local I/O Modules - The FCT300 and FCT200 master controllers can be equipped with a wide range of digital I/O modules.

The modules are easy to apply, remove and replace.

The possible combinations are many, on SMI port (Serial Management Interface).

A distinctive feature of CMZ controllers is the high performance of digital I / O management up to 300 µsec on FCT300 and 1 msec on FCT200, thanks to the synchronous serial port (SMI) to which the LOCAL_IO board can be connected.
